Love, Ivy

Hello everyone! It's Ivy! Georgia is one of the bravest people I know. I love her very, very much. I cannot believe that Georgia has taken over 4000 pills. Through this journey, Georgia has been very brave, kind, and confident, and I admire her for that. The real reason for why I love her is because of who she is. I am so happy that Georgia is almost done! Thanks for reading the blog! -Ivy : )

P.S. (from Mommy) Remember, comments are open and would be very appreciated - our guest poster worked so hard!

Also, great news! I am now just over halfway to goal and gaining on my fellow 46 Mommas in The Race for Third Place! Please consider being a HERO for kids with cancer and making a donation in honor of our own hero, Georgia Lee Moore! Challenge ends at midnight, APRIL 29TH! Thanks, y'all!

  7. Hello Ivy! What a wonderful post. I know that writing is tough and takes a lot of time and concentration, so three cheers for a job well done! Georgia is very lucky to have a such a smart, kind, and supportive sister.

Best wishes to you and your whole family!

  8. Yay, Ivy. You are an amazing, awesome sister. I never had a sister, but if I did, I'd want one just like you. And...I love your name, Ivy. My grandmother's name was Ivy and so I've always loved that name. I never got to have a daughter either, but if I did, I think I would have named her Ivy. So...you get to have some of my sister-daughter love. I live in San Angelo and I am friends with your grandparents and I am so thankful for them and for getting to know you and your family. Thank you for your post. Love from San Angelo, Joyce

  9. Ivy - will you and your sister be going to California in July with your mom? I am a mom to 2 girls - Fiona who is 14 and Grace (a brain tumor survivor) who is 10. I'm not shaving my head this year, but Fiona and Grace got to shave it last year. I can't wait to meet your mom!
    Thanks for posting!

  10. Ivy-I never had a big sister or little sister (I am an only child-69 years old); but if I did, I would want one just like you. You are a great role model. You are a very "grown-up" little girl who has much love and compassion for others. Growing up my grandmother always told me---"Pretty is as pretty does"---YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!

    Hugs!
