A Word from the Girl of the Hour!

Rockin' my spiky "do" today!

Hi everybody! It’s great to know y’all are thinking of me. I’ve got lots of cards and so many balloons, my room looks like a circus tent. We placed bets on the balloons that we think will hold up the longest, and so far I think my bet will win. : ) I’ve got lots of things to do, so don’t think I am getting bored! My esteemed nurse and sister, Ivy, is one of the best things about being home. She’s fun, she makes me laugh and she is forever by my side. We are thinking of giving out rubber LIVESTRONG-type bracelets, and we will tell y’all when we decide. Thank you for all your support and please leave a comment. BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Georgia-

We have the LEII class photo from last year hanging on the wall in Ben's room. In the photo you are in the middle, shining with a sunbeam on your face and a spectacular smile. When we pass the photo we smile back at you. We are proud to know you. Thank you for this blog so that we can hold your hand in this small way along your journey.

Cancer is one of the chapters in the book of my life too. I hope it will be a short chapter for you. Life is even more beautiful in the rest of the book! :)

  18. Hi Georgia!

I have been reading your blog and I have to tell you that you are such a brave little girl! With your fighting spirit and winning attitude you will "knock out" this cancer thing!
I think you look alot like your Mom...very pretty! Your Mom was such a perfect child..she always would sit perfectly still on Lolly's lap whereever we would go (mainly basketball games) while my son Steve was running all around the gym! We had alot of fun
    raising our children!
I also want to tell you that I think your hair looks very cute! Very stylish!
I hope to get to know you better and in fact let's plan on it! Meanwhile you keep being the brave little girl that you are!
    Lots of love to you!

  22. Hi Georgia,

We haven't met before, but your Aunt Kate is a lifelong friend of mine and she shared your VERY cool blogspot with me. She has told me lots about you and your sister over the years, about what a wonderful big cousin you are to Claire and Vivi, and how much they look up to you. Well I can certainly see why!

My 6 yr old son wanted you to know that he thinks your haircut is REALLY cool and he wishes he could get his to spike like that! He is also jealous that you got to meet the Lady Longhorns. Wow!!

We are sending you LOTS of love from Lawrence, Kansas, and some snow, too, if you care for any!
