Our trivia fundraiser Thursday night was a success and a ton of fun, too. We had five teams of generous friends playing in support of childhood cancer research, and we raised a cool $400 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. That takes our team fundraising total to over $41K for the year! Congratulations to the Temperancetresses for taking the top spot, and thank you to everyone who came out to play!
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of volunteering at my Momma friend, Judy's fundraiser in honor of her son, Alan. They launched rockets of all sizes, and there were many Star Wars and various comic book characters in attendance. Kathleen Ruddy, the CEO of St. Baldrick's, was there as well, and she presented Georgia with a medal and shared some very nice words about our family. It was such a unique event, and we had a great time!
