Making a Big Splash

Georgia has been making a splash in one way or another pretty much from the day she was born, but over the last week or so, she's really doing it up right! First, there was the Parents Magazine article, then today, our friends from the clinic shared a short video she made to inspire kids still in the fight:

Survivors Among Us- Georgia
This morning, Georgia kicks off our week with a word of hope and encouragement for all of the children fighting their battle today. #SurvivorsAmongUs

Moving on to tonight, she was inducted into the National Honor Society! We are so proud of her - and her smart friends who were inducted as well - and we are so grateful that she and Ivy both are in a school that celebrates girls who love to learn!

And finally, it's official: we are POOL people! There are a few more finishing details to take care of, but the cement pond is full of water, and we took the inaugural swim on Saturday! The girls were just a wee bit excited:

Later this week, Georgia will visit with some more college(!) representatives at school, and we'll be closing out Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with a trivia night fundraiser and volunteering at a friend's rocket launch fundraiser on Sunday. If you haven't done something for the kids this month, there's still time! And of course, we appreciate your support every day, every month, and every one of the nearly six years we've been on this journey. So if you're ever in the neighborhood, come on by - and bring your suit!
