We are celebrating a couple of very big honors today. First, we found out earlier this week that Georgia has been accepted into the National Honor Society! She works so hard in school, and especially considering all that her brain and body have been through, it's amazing what she's accomplished - and continues to accomplish! Induction is Monday night, and I *think* there might be some whooping from the audience when she crosses the stage. : )
Also in Peachy Keens news, we are so honored to be included in an article about families that fundraise for childhood cancer research. When I agreed to do the interview, I had no idea we'd be in the company of such incredible families, several of whom
inspire me daily. These are some of the big dogs in the childhood cancer
community, moving mountains and making a difference for all of us. We
are grateful to them for sharing their children and their journeys and
are honored to be a small part of this army of HOPE.
You can be a part of it, too, by supporting the St. Baldrick's Foundation and childhood cancer research. Click HERE to donate!
