Happy St. Patrick's Day! Pulling out the green today always reminds me of our amazing friends at the St. Baldrick's Foundation - March is traditionally the biggest month for shave events since the very first shave took place on March 17, 2000. Interesting that St. Baldrick's and Georgia are the same age ...
Just since January 1st, a mighty bald army has raised over $17 million for childhood cancer research - one dome, one dollar at a time. And on April 7th, St. Baldrick's will announce the first pediatric cancer DREAM TEAM under its partnership with Stand Up To Cancer. The team will receive a 4-year, $14.5 million research grant and was selected based on its ability "to make the biggest impact
— not just more knowledge about cancers, but new treatments to help
more children survive to live healthy lives." This is such an exciting prospect and one of the many reasons why we support St. Baldrick's and its concerted efforts to fill the funding gap for childhood cancer research.
Share some luck o' the Irish with kids in the
fight, and help give them
the best possible chance for cures and for long, healthy lives.
