Well, Georgia had a fantastic time in Georgia! She made new friends, tried a new medium, and really enjoyed exploring a new city. SCAD is a pretty impressive school, and the whole experience was wonderful. Except for the flight troubles on the way home ... thank you, Romy, for escorting our girl home so she didn't have to navigate late planes and missed connections alone!

and play! Tybee Island beach bums.
Georgia returned home just in time for the 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave, and what a time we had! It was so cool to host Mommas from around the country and to share our beloved city with them. The shave was a big fundraising success, but it was also - as always - a lot of fun. We had some first time shavees and two Knights of the Bald Table were inducted for seven years of service. The Oasis is a beautiful venue, and if you've never been there, the view is not to be missed! The Mommas have raised over $2 million since 2010, and I am so honored and proud to be a part of this amazing team! They even surprised me with a cake - it was an awesome birthday party, for sure!

Don't Mess with Mommas, y'all!
And in case I haven't made it clear enough here (ahem), here's a piece I wrote for St. Baldrick's that explains why the Mommas and I do what we do. Thanks again for your donations and support and for continuing to keep our girl on your mind and in your heart.
