This Georgia original could be yours!
Coming soon, on APRIL 29TH in fact, is our second annual children's art show for CureSearch! Patty, our pint-sized curator, calls the show "Art for Donation and Expression of Love," and this year, besides beautiful work from our friends at Parkside Community School, Georgia's art class from the Ann Richards School donated pieces as well. It's shaping up to be quite a collection, and we're looking forward to the event, as it was so fun - and so successful - last year!
From the press release:
Patty was inspired to organize the fundraiser by fellow Parkside student Georgia Moore’s struggle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Last year, the 154 original canvasses painted by children ages two to 14 raised over $3,000. Patty (now a second grader in the lower elementary program) is motivated to surpass last year’s amount raised with her concept Art For Donation And Expression of Love.
“I appreciate everybody who is helping, says Patty. ”We are making paintings because we enjoy this and we make it with our hearts and love for other kids."
