Hello everyone! It's Ivy! Georgia is one of the bravest people I know. I love her very, very much. I cannot believe that Georgia has taken over 4000 pills. Through this journey, Georgia has been very brave, kind, and confident, and I admire her for that. The real reason for why I love her is because of who she is. I am so happy that Georgia is almost done! Thanks for reading the blog! -Ivy : )
P.S. (from Mommy) Remember, comments are open and would be very appreciated - our guest poster worked so hard!
Also, great news! I am now just over halfway to goal and gaining on my fellow 46 Mommas in The Race for Third Place! Please consider being a HERO for kids with cancer and making a donation in honor of our own hero, Georgia Lee Moore! Challenge ends at midnight, APRIL 29TH! Thanks, y'all!
We love you, Ivy! You are brave, too! Thanks for being the best sister Georgia could ever have!! I think you two can do anything you set your hearts and minds to! Watch out world!! xoxo from New York!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the blogging world, Ivy! You and Georgia are so lucky to have each other as loving sisters.
ReplyDeleteSweet Ivy! What a great post-there is nothing like sister love is there! The Nichols girls say hello and send a big hug to you and Georgia!
ReplyDeleteIvy, I was just thinking *this week* about how cool you are for being such a super sibling during Georgia's treatment. Thanks for blogging. ~Ann (M) K
ReplyDeleteIvy - Thanks for being such a great sister to Georgia and such a great BIG cousin to my girls. You have been so strong during this time. I am proud of you.

Great post, Ivy! I really admire you and all you do. I'm so glad your cousins Claire and Vivi have such a good example of sisters to learn from.

Hello Ivy! What a wonderful post. I know that writing is tough and takes a lot of time and concentration, so three cheers for a job well done! Georgia is very lucky to have a such a smart, kind, and supportive sister.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you and your whole family!
--Janet (Claire and Vivian's other aunt)
PS -- I love the green lacy dress you're wearing in this photo. You look beautiful!
Yay, Ivy. You are an amazing, awesome sister. I never had a sister, but if I did, I'd want one just like you. And...I love your name, Ivy. My grandmother's name was Ivy and so I've always loved that name. I never got to have a daughter either, but if I did, I think I would have named her Ivy. So...you get to have some of my sister-daughter love. I live in San Angelo and I am friends with your grandparents and I am so thankful for them and for getting to know you and your family. Thank you for your post. Love from San Angelo, Joyce
ReplyDeleteIvy - will you and your sister be going to California in July with your mom? I am a mom to 2 girls - Fiona who is 14 and Grace (a brain tumor survivor) who is 10. I'm not shaving my head this year, but Fiona and Grace got to shave it last year. I can't wait to meet your mom!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting!

Ivy-I never had a big sister or little sister (I am an only child-69 years old); but if I did, I would want one just like you. You are a great role model. You are a very "grown-up" little girl who has much love and compassion for others. Growing up my grandmother always told me---"Pretty is as pretty does"---YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
